The light reflector is bent using a pipe bender, then cut and sanded for a simple and clean assembly.

Reconnecting with circadian rhythms
For a large part of the population, people work late into the evening and no longer listen to their bodies, which are getting tired. Burnout can therefore occur quickly.
I wanted to create a light fixture that doesn't require electricity, allowing us to reconnect with our internal rhythms.
To achieve this, I created a candle holder that can be lit to regulate working hours.
The candle at the center of the device is composed of successive layers of wax containing different active ingredients.
Each operating cycle lasts 2 hours and 45 minutes. After this time, the lit candle will consume the various wax layers. The thinner layers are composed of wax and boric acid (in pink), a product that changes the color of the flame. This indicates to the user the end of an operating cycle.
